Commodore’s Cuttings. Oh yes! Three quarters of the way through and people seem to be still smiling! What a relief! I was hoping to get some work done on the boat this summer but that just hasn’t happened. Can’t think why! Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed at least some of the events this year. We have had some fantastic successes but I know there have also been a couple of dodgy decisions and my choice to go for mainly tow-path rallies has resulted in a few wet and windy weekends. Even these though had their good points and hopefully you will remember all those, while forgetting the bad! Just a few more do’s to go now before the change to the program for the Kid’s party. This is now to be a trip to the Garstang Pantomime of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves on Saturday 3rd December. Don’t forget there is now nothing happening at Bilsborrow on 17th December. The January trip on 28th Jan is another Garstang event and is a games day at St Thomas’ Parish Hall or the new Masonic Hall if it is ready, followed by a Burn’s Night Supper at the Tithebarn. Roy’s Dinner Dance is at Park Hall, Camelot on February 11th - details are on page 48 and we should have a cracking night there too. So, get your bucket of Horlicks ready, sit back and enjoy the rest of the biggest Cruiser in history!
